About me

I’m Alex Jewhurst, Founder and Director of Clarke & Partners, a refined estate agency dedicated to delivering a bespoke, people-first service across the Cotswolds’ most sought-after locations.

My career in estate agency began in 2005, following a move away from engineering and toward my true passion—people. and property. Since then, I’ve worked across Hampshire, Surrey, and Central London, ultimately honing my expertise at Hamptons’ City office, where I advised high-net-worth clients and handled exceptional homes.

After years of working in London and commuting from the Cotswolds, it became clear that my heart—and future—belonged here. I founded Clarke & Partners to bring big-city professionalism and polish to a more personal, local setting, offering a discreet, high-touch service grounded in trust, experience, and results.

My connection to the Cotswolds runs deep. I first discovered the area in 1999 when I met my wife, Natasha, and we later chose to raise our family here—settling in South Cerney with our daughter, May, and our two loyal working Cocker Spaniels, Louis & Albus.

What I love most about the Cotswolds is its unique blend of timeless beauty, vibrant village life, and a genuine sense of community. Whether it’s the golden stone architecture, the rolling countryside, or the independent spirit of places like Cirencester, Bibury, and Tetbury, the region offers a lifestyle that’s hard to match—elegant yet grounded, serene yet connected.

Outside of property, I’m passionate about skiing and golf—both of which reflect my approach to business: focused, strategic, and always striving for the best possible outcome. These interests keep me energised, competitive, and appreciative of the detail that makes a difference.
